Here in the UK genuine Clippards are fairly hard to come by, especially screen accurate R-331 and R-701s.

However, occasionally other alternatives come up and I was lucky enough to snag two R-301s for quite cheaply last month on eBay.

So after a stupid amount of revisions I've designed on my 3D printer a two-part "knob" and "peg" which push together through the hole in the top of the Clippard aluminium screw.

After painting the top and pushing the two pieces together they stay quite firm through friction alone and allows a quite secure fit while also allowing the knob to turn.

I've uploaded my files to Thingiverse https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4602806

I did a video

But after discussions with some others we are sceptical that it is a 301 on the Spengler wand despite its appearance on the Hasbro toy. So I'm making a 701 knob in the same peg/hole configuration and will update this thread when complete.

Thank you. I have clippard 331 on a pack wand I built back in 1989. I lent the knob to a friend to mold, and never got it back. Printing up replacements now.
