The Hasbro PP comes with Alice frame attachments but they are incorrect or incomplete as the top of the pack touches the frame.

What materials do we need to buy in a hardware store to complete the set and make the attachment screen accurate (on a Rothco).

Anyone have pictures of the “missing” items?

Didn’t touch the frame (Rothco LC1) when I fitted it. Wouldn’t the foam come between them anyway?

I'm also curious. Some of the 'busters in my group (Ecto Force FL) have spacers on the top and bottom of the ALICE frame.

If I recall the first movie cut up hockey pucks and used them as spacers.

The dimensions of them don't seem to be quite right for hockey pucks, seems more likely they were wood, or something else undetermined. Hockey pucks are an easy stand in though!

Someone on the Haslab Pack posted a quick mode solving this. I wonder if we can find a instructed way to have a spacer on the top part, and what type of spacer would be. I'm sure etsy will make lots of money with this

Adding or lengthening spacers might not be the best thing with a plastic motherboard as you're introducing strain with no functional purpose.

If it breaks, definitely.

My point is that the spacers aren't there to achieve a certain look. They're there for stability.

Look on any videos, Savage, etc. Even on my channel.

The top of the Alice frame touches the pack. I padded the pack motherboard out with black electrical tape to prevent scratches. (Where the Alice frame touches the pack).

The Hasbro clamps (used on the upper section of the pack) have ALOT of vertical space. It would be easy to insert spacers (and longer screws). I'm just looking for the specific measurements of bolts to use.

Use them with the larger diameter washers (sorry I don't have the exact size of those on me). You can see an example from Adam Savages photo archive of the Pheobe pack, which are the same as the implementation on the GB2 packs.

I don't know. Chris Bosh Props on youtube seems to have the ultimate answer on getting the correct spacing. He has a 3D printed Hasbro type spacer and a 3D printed GB1 type spacer. Check out his channel. To me this seems to be the ultimate fix, requiring just 1 3D printed spacer and 2x new bolts that are M6x25

Oh yeah, if all you were looking for was correct spacing I ain't gonna go against Chris Bosh, but it's not screen accurate to either film in looks.

Use the spacers and bolts from a TV mounting kit. They're metric and will fit

I was a little more aggressive with the spacers. I mocked up and replaced all the mounting brackets that come with the pack. My goal was to have something with as much of a screen accurate feel as I could get but still use all seven of the existing mounting points without any permanent modifications. The bottom blocks and top "puck" are to scale based on the measurements I've seen in other threads. Let me know what you think.

I commend Hasbro for making this pack, but it's odd to me that they would go through all the trouble to include the alice frame attachment hardware and get it SO wrong.

My guess is that they were given a requirement that the frame be attachable without drilling new holes in the alice frame, but all we end up with is a situation where discerning fans (like the ones that go through the trouble of adding the LC1 frame), have to drill or otherwise modify their expensive proton pack, as the above demonstrated 3d printed spacer options, while appreciated, are a poor looking solution.
