So 15 mins after receiving my wand light kit i set it all up on the table and hook two 12v wires to the driver board, one to the positive terminal and one to the ground. Then i hook the ground wire to the negative post on a 9v battery, the positive wire i leave loose cuz its just a quick test to see of it will turn on and it does! The positive wire then slips off the terminal and touches both the positive and negative terminals at the same time and i hear a zap and the driver board is dead:( so now im just wondering what would have fried first and if i could maybe replace it before resorting to purchasing another board. any help would be great

Assuming it's a GBFans kit you could try dropping forum user Spongeface a message, as he is the designer of those boards so may be able to offer some advice.

so havent heard form spongeface left a msg on his wall but doesnt look like he responds much ther, im figuring i fried the 6 pin circuit at J3 but i have no idea what kind of circuit it is hard to tell its kind of toasted
